Friends are a gift especially true friends.They do many things to benefit each other.The friendship throughout this paper is based on the novel Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.There are two men in the novella named George Milton and Lennie Small.They have the best of friendship.George lies about him and being family at one point in time.George actrs more as a rolemodel to Lennie and not just a caretaker. There is something unique about Lennie Small. Lennie like to touch soft material.That is what gets Lennie in trouble in a town named Weed.As Lennie was walking down the street he saw a lady in a nice dress.Lennie being the way he is he just had to feel her dress.Therefore,Lennie grabbed the dress to feel it and the lady started yelling.The lady thougth lennie was going to rape her but little did shae know Lennie ia mentally handicapped.George came to help Lennie and they had to go hide in a irrigation ditch till night fall.So they can get away without being seen because they would have kill Lennie for what he did if they saw him.George came to Lennie help save him that is what a true friend would do.
