Morality Writing

Ever since modern science started becoming more popular and intriguing, subjects like morality, human values, and religion are starting to come into play more and more. Many people believe that certain factors come into play when evaluating what is right and what is wrong, and this essay is to prove exactly that. In the short story “The Storyteller”, the plot was about an aunt who expected three children to act perfect, even though they didn’t want to be. A man who was also on this train noticed this and decided to tell these children a story. The story was about a girl who was so good she won medals for it and people adored her. One day, a prince asked her to come to his garden. When the little girl arrived, there was a hungry wolf eager to get his hands on anything he could. He found the little girl and devoured her alive. In this text, telling these children what they should or should not be doing restrict them from being who they really are. The aunt was wrong for expecting so much, and the man was good by basically telling these children that being good doesn’t always get them out of hard situations. …show more content…

Kudo who served in Afghanistan who would do anything to keep his men safe. One day, he saw two men coming and thought they were the enemy and was going to harm them. He and his men killed them, and they later learned that these two men were innocent and were most likely just trying to get home to their family. Capt. Kudo is going through A “moral injury” which is the struggle a soldier faces when grappling with the morality of what they have done in the war. I guess the question is, was Capt. Kudo right for trying to protect his men from harm and danger, or was he wrong for acting too soon and killing these innocent
