The other day in band class, it was just a normal day with these band dorks and all a sudden, this girl named Madison started to play a piece of music called “The Tempest.” and she did it so awful,like she was squealing and it was just awful.Then we were like we can play better than you can. Then all of a sudden we were all trying to play better than each other and ended up playing up playing the best, funnest piece of music that we tweaked by just trying to be better than each other. Now that's my talent right there, band!Not everyone can play an instrument, so that makes doing band specia.I get to play in concerts and show what i’ve learned.I couldn't have played in concerts, if I hadn't of practiced my instrument. Playing the flute in band is my talent. Playing my flute is a special talent, because not everyone can play an instrument.Most people think playing an instrument is so against society, and dorky, so people don't play instrument, so it makes it really special to be able to play an instrument. SOme people I know say that being able to play an instrument is the best thing to do and that makes me feel like since I can play an instrument, I must be like the pope. When I first started playing I had to practice so up to five hours a day to just get the simplest note note out of my horn.At first first i was the worst flute player ever, i couldn't even play the smallest note.My teacher Mr.Correll helped me, and made me play until I got it which took along time to do. Now I practice at least two hours a day or more. I think all people who play any instrument can agree practice is really important to being a good musician.
