The R.M.S Titanic was a luxury Steamship made by Harland and Wolff Industries but its Architect is an Irish man named Thomas Andrews. The Titanic was a marvel of its time but it had its fair share of flaws. It had 15 watertight bulkheads compartments that had electric sealing doors that could be operated from the individually or simultaneously from the bridge. No one knew that the flaw in the bulkheads was a critical factor in the sinking of the Titanic, the bulkheads were watertight the walls that separated them were not so water could leak into one bulkhead from another if the boat began to list or pitch forward. It was the 10th of april 1912 around noon, the Titanic was ready to set sail on her maiden voyage she was considered a wonder of her time. For one it was much like 9/11 it was heard all around the world. It also established different programs that would watch for icebergs, some still do even today. Ultimately 13 nations are committed to watching out for icebergs in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The sinking of the Titanic has changed the safety of ships in the oceans by a lot. There were many important people involved with the Titanic however some did not show up for the sinking of the Titanic. The Rothschilds and Rockefellers were reported to be on the Titanic but canceled last minute, which has prompted many theories that they were just sinking their competition.The Titanic had many influences on the world when it sunk in the mid Atlantic.
