Have you ever rode in a car for more than 24 hours? The plot in the book of “Watson’s Go To Birmingham”, is about a family going on a trip to Birmingham in 1963 and experience an event that makes them see how wrong color in the south are treated. The plot in the movie is more about how colored had been fighting for their rights and all the event leading up to everyone becoming equal. In “Watson’s Go To Birmingham”, lots of events changed the plot like the movie is focused mainly on Civil Rights while the book isn 't, but Joey leaves the church before it blows up in both, so there are some similarities. There are many differences between the book and the movie, like in the book they all stayed down at Grandma Sands, but in the movie the dad didn’t stay with them.

This book is about a girl named Janey who dealt with her parents not being there because they died in a car crash. Janey is living with her Aunt Baby, whom she thinks is mean, and her annoying little sister, YoYo. Janey is not a happy camper because she can't live where her friends live, her face is damaged and not pretty anymore. Aunt Baby is too worried about the money because she has two kids now, and Aunt Baby doesn't want kids and she definitely shows it!

The overall theme in this book is trying new things are good, but can result in bad things as well. This year the heffleys tried a new thing during Christmas and went on vacations hoping it would be a lot of fun. there have had postive things that came out of their vaction. They are growing closer as a family and spent quality family time during the vacation. They enjoyed the weather and thought it was awesome.
The book is a story about two women named molly and Vivian. Molly is in trouble with the law after attempted theft, her punishment choices were jail time or fifty hours of community service. Molly had chosen to complete fifty hours of community service, her boyfriend Jack had found her a place to complete her hours at an elderly woman’s house named Vivian who is mother took care of. Molly job was to clean Vivian’s attic as an act of community service. After a while of beginning to know Vivian, molly begins to sort out the cardboard boxes.
I didn’t read more books from him sooner. I was able to learn so much through Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson and their opinions on detective literature. Sherlock Holmes is a very interesting character who is always questioning things that take place.
In the beginning Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are having breakfast at their office in London. Dr. Watson examines a walking stick that was left behind by an unknown visitor. After examining the stick Watson tells Holmes the man who owned the stick was an old family doctor that belonged to a hunting party. This chapter shows that Holmes and Watson are good friends because Holmes declares Watson wrong and makes fun of him a bit. Holmes says the stick was a gift from hospital colleagues to a young man.
