Have you ever been so interested in your book, you cannot put the book down. This book is a family novel. Mostly about a family who goes on a road trip to see their grandma. The kids learn a lot about segregation. The kids go through rough times. In my opinion, I highly recommend the book “The Watsons go to Birmingham- 1963”. The first reason, I can relate to the characters. The oldest Byron, I can relate because, I know what the feeling is to get mad or irritated with your siblings. Also, Joetta, because she sticks up for her brothers. Also, I thought the book had really good humor. Most humor moments were involved with Byron. For example, Byron got his tongue stuck to the car mirror. Also, he had to shave his head for a consequence. One
