“All that is necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world, is for enough good men to do nothing.” said Edmund Burke. This quote portrays the idea that if an exceptional and hard-working person was to do absolutely nothing, the world would slowly start to fade in the opposite direction. All bad things would begin to occur, and his good work would be put to waste and evil would find it’s way into good. This represents how big things can happen by a simple, miniscule action. For example, if a person was to sit and simply watch someone get hurt, both verbally and physically and do nothing about it, this could cause a small amount of evil to find it’s way into the world, and from this one action, greater forces of evil could occur. If no one was to vote, all of our votes would be put in the hands of someone else. This person, not being ourselves, there for not giving our true votes, or who we truly want to run our country. However, we would not be able to do anything about this because no one took the initiative to vote. The country could slowly crumble and in the end, be enveloped by evil. The more that we neglect our responsibilities, the more that we begin to lose the trait of being responsible. This would cause us to show how we not only giving up on our country and our people, but on
