“Text Love”, is a short story about a couple get to know each other by technology. It is relatable due to the fact that today’s society is a technology generation. Who not involve with technology, who do not take advantages of how good the technology is, such as, bring us closer with the person that is oversea, and make the conversation getting easily. The theme of the story is the meaning of true love to them, how technology is a part of their successful love journey. This essay is the analysis of the “Text Love” the main character, the theme/message, compare/contrast, technology’s influence and last but not least is what my reaction to the story is.
The main character is an honest and confident woman. She was recognized as an honest woman because of her kindness. I believe that she was in love with her man in the first place where he was asked for help many times but the result makes her so pissed. Moving from overseas and speak different languages is even harder. Her story somehow touching my feeling where I was making fun by others Spanish and American during the gym period in High School. I was asking myself that what kind of society is this. Do I belong here? I feel her

It is a very organize short story. The date, setting and plot of the story are mentioned in order. For example: “One beautiful morning, in Lowell High School. At the time that we met, 7th of January, 2014. One year pass by, January 7th, 2015….in Middlesex Community College” (Sok). Those are the interested way to opening a paragraph. The voice of the main character made me (as a reader) feel like I was in that situation with her. She describe since the first day that she met him to the point they flirt and break up and reunited and finally happy ending.
