Some writers have written that The Holy Bible is a new twist on a series of old tales. It has been spread widely since the early twentieth century that most historical accounts of Jesus Christ are actually revamped versions from other religious sects. These claims however have only been at best barely validated. It has been claimed that the stories of Jesus Christ are the stories of Krishna, stories of Buddha, and stories of Zoroaster. The claim has varied from the virgin birth, to immaculate healing, the resurrection, and even the crucifixion. Though many of the topics are similar, it is all a coincidence, and no proof has been given that the bible is in fact a work of fiction. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 …show more content…

Zoroaster was considered a normal birth despite the fact it had been said he was born with an aura surrounding him, and he was laughing. Neither of his parents were considered out of the ordinary, and neither were considered a virgin at the time of his birth. Zoroaster was said to have been tempted by an evil spirit in the woods, much like Jesus' plight with the Devil in the desert. This text was written some time after Jesus was said to have lived. Jesus started his ministry at the age of thirty, and Zoroaster came out of seclusion to begin his teachings at age thirty, though Zoroaster's teachings were not accepted for some time. Jesus was executed at age thirty three and Zoroaster lived to a ripe age of seventy seven when he was also executed. Now both of these figures did teach a similar good versus evil moralities. Where as Jesus taught the ability to repent during life, Zoroaster taught the idea that when people pass they are judged for their deeds then.
