My biblical worldview before this course was centered on scriptures and seeing things through them. Computer technology had helped me to enhance my biblical view by allowing me to access scriptures instantly on a situation. I find this useful when I remember a verse but cannot quote it back. You Version on my smartphone allows me to mark verses for later use and it organizes The Bible more concise for learning. Personal use of computers involved communication, bill pay, entertainment, work, and online learning. Even though I knew some basics on computers, this class has increased my knowledge and biblical view of computers and gained key insight on creative commons along with Microsoft applications.

After a few posts from fellow classmates, I could see that computer technology could be used for good or bad. Just like a double edge sword, I must be careful how I use computers. One perspective that most classmates talked about was greater communication with long distance relatives and friends. This seems to be the biggest advancement for good with computers but, if you depend on it too much you could miss out on the important things God has planned. Being present in communication means more to people than convenient communication through computers. My perspective has grown in terms of use with The Gospel in computers. With all the applications, Computers can really get the message across and bring a greater audience to Jesus. I enjoyed inputting the expenses and did not know you could use data from other spreadsheets in the workbook. According to Lambert, “When you work with large amounts of data, it’s often useful to identify groups of cells that contain related data” naming the sheet with each month of the year allowed me to summarize data more efficiently (Lambert. 2016). This proved useful in gathering totals from all the months and completing a pie chart. I have already begun to use most of what I learned in revamping some old workbooks.
