The government is one of the most powerful things in a country! The government or major organization can change your whole perspective of how you live your life and how other people live their lives. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury shows you what kind of life could happen if you have an oppressive government and decide to go against an oppressive government and try and change it. Bradbury talks about how the government censors books from people so they can not learn material that is wrongful or not up to the standards of the government that is pushing this idea to the people. Books, which are one of the items that the firemen are burning, can contain some of the most interesting and vital information to the society and its people. “It’s not the books you need, it’s some of the things that were in the books.” (Bradbury 149) Books were one of the first tools to keep all the information in the world in on some of the most useful information to the world, now computer have consumed those roles but books are still in play becasue they are original information .
