In the last act of William Shakespeare's Othello plenty of things go wrong starting with the way Othello treats Desdemona. In this part of the analysis, I will be focusing mostly on the way everything in the is all a cause of manipulation. Not only will I be talking about the different ways that Iago has manipulated the characters throughout the story to get his way but I will also be talking about or mentioning throughout this analysis is how much hate led up to all the manipulation. In this act of Othello by William Shakespeare, it begins when Iago and Rodrigo wait outside a brothel in order to kill Cassio but Iago does not want to get hurt or caught so he leaves but he is still able to watch the situation play out in front of. Rodrigo begins to try to stab Cassio but somehow misses and Rodrigo ends up dropping the knife and Cassio grabs the knife and stabs Roderigo. Iago does end up returning to stab Iago in the leg and run away Lodovico and Graziano come in and here Cassio and Rodrigo cry for help than Iago comes in pretending like he never stabbed anyone that he “finds” Cassio on the ground crying than in front of everyone he stabs and kills Rodrigo. Othello walks in and pecks Desdemona's sleeping body and begins to lower the pillow to suffocate her but than Desdemona awakes and begins to question if Othello is going to kill her and she figures out he is and so she begs for a few minutes to stay alive so she can pray but alas Othello says no he begins to say that she cheated on him with Cassio and Desdemona says she did not. Othello still not believing Desdemona he suffocates her with the pillow. Emilia then comes in and finds that Desdemona is lying on the bed unconscious but Desdemona does not want to hurt her husband so she said that she killed herself and no one killed
