Goal 1: Enhancing Student Success Morgan State University is a prestigious and distinguished institution
In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird the author Harper Lee uses protagonist to express the idea that having the courage to fight can make people hate you. The thesis means that Atticus is fighting for other that is something that others will not do at all. This also means that Atticus was fighting for someone who is a colored and people did not like what he was doing. Next is that Atticus was standing up for Tom Robinson from getting accused of what he didn’t do. He also let Calpurnia stay at his house because he needed her and Alexandra told him to fire Calpurnia.
My future goals after high school are, I want to attend a four year University, So I picked University of Dubuque college. So this year I am working really hard to get at least a 2.5 gpa. In college i want to study criminal justice for my major, I am not sure exactly what I want to do for a minor. Going to and completing college is my second biggest goal. Another goal i have is joining the U.S Army, Joining the Army is has been my biggest goal in my life since I was about six or seven
I believe that setting smart goals is one of the most important things in life. Without goals, a person will never be able to push themselves to achieve their highest potential. I understand the need for setting high goals, as I have seen myself achieve so much more than I thought I ever could. I work hard in school, aiming for another 4.0 at the end of the year, while taking many hard classes, including three AP classes and dual enrollment through Chinese Immersion. Even though these classes can be very challenging, I know that it will all be worth it in the end.
My goals are what I use to define who I am, which is why I choose them carefully. I put always write them down so that I can strive to be at my best. I have long term goals. My long term goals are to major Marketing in Florida International University. In FIU’s College of Business where I have the ability to learn everything I can about marketing, and start business relationships.
Being very goal orientated I have many goals for my future nursing career. One specific short term goal would be having the honor to get accepted into the one school I have always dreamed of attending, Allen College, to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Once I am accepted to a nursing program a goal I feel very strongly about is continuing to keep my grade point average at a 3.8 or higher level. I plan to accomplish this goal by completely applying myself and my time to my program, only letting my dedication for nursing continue to grow, and getting as involved as possible in my school and my learning. Most importantly, my short term goal is to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and get a job at The University of Iowa
A continued personal goal for me is to not only be the first member of my family to go to college, but also be the first to obtain my master’s degree. At an earlier age it was instilled that knowledge and education the ultimate key to success.
The infamous answer to the question, “What is your primary goal for going to school?” is “to further my education, get a job, and be successful” such a cliché if I must say myself. My goal attending school is to make my family happy, as well as myself. In high school, I did not apply myself like I should have done because I was not sure if college was in my favor. Also, being the child of a single parent wanting to attend college seemed impossible, especially far from home.
This includes, but not limited to, graduating from Florida A&M University with a degree in business, telling my story of my trials and tribulations of growing up to influence others, and giving back to my community. My first major goal is to graduate, which I am striving for a Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. During my time here at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University I have been involved in a few organizations and clubs in the School of Business and Industry that will assist in bettering myself as a business student.
Finally, the last achievement will be real joy. These 3 achievements are very easily within my grasp as a person, and they’re the achievements that I want the most in life. The first major achievement in life will be graduating college with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is an attainable goal for myself based on how this semester is going so far. I shouldn’t have any problem getting a 3.0 GPA.
College Goal Statement Healthcare has long been known for being the most rewarding, demanding, and rapidly growing fields. However, from a young age, I knew that my purpose in life lay within its realms. I would watch medical shows like Untold Stories of the E.R and play with one of those plastic doctor kits trying to emulate the television. That is when I decided I wanted to be an Emergency Room doctor. Throughout Middle school career, I got high marks in science as I found that more interesting than anything else.
Academic Goal The academic goal I have set forth is to do my very best in all my courses only A’s and B’s. This way I will have increased my odds in being accepted into multiple nursing programs so I can take the right step in achieving my first career goal as an ER rn . I believe this is a realistic goal as long I apply myself and stay dedicated I know I can reach that goal.
All goals are important and essential. Even smaller short term goals because they lead to the big long term goals. Every one of them make up one large dream. In my large dream of successfully graduating high school, I set gradually smaller goals to accomplish in my six periods of learning. My six periods are Anatomy, College Prep, Spanish 2, English 10 Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, and Chemistry.
College was always one of my long term goals as I continued with my education. Throughout the years I began to work harder and harder so I could secure my future. I knew that getting to college would not be easy. I am about to embark on a four year journey in one of the hardest fields to pursue. I will continue my education as a Nursing major at a four year university.
When I graduate high school, I plan on having future goals that I plan on achieving. My first goal is to go to college and get a degree. I plan on attending Purdue NorthWest majoring in engineering and minoring in business. This is my number one future goal that I need to accomplish because to be able to have a nice life, I need to go to college to support my future family. My next future goal would be get a starting job to be able to support my future family.
