Tim's Leadership Style

Another Leadership style of Tim’s as well as the companies is interactive leadership. Interactive leadership is a leadership style that characterized by values such as collaboration, inclusion, caring, and relationship building. Tim engages the team and I in several way’s while at work. When he is trying to decide between something, he includes us in the process of making that decision. He will often say something in the form of a question for us to give him input such as, “I’m thinking about changing vendors because of the delay in delivery, do you feel it is a wise idea?” This type of dialogue between Tim and the team helps him solicit information that is valuable for the task at hand. communication and technology can be considered as on at Turner Entertainment because technology is used to communicate. We use Cisco Jabber whenever we need to talk or email someone within and outside Turner Entertainment. I can call the front desk of any Turner Entertainment property and speak to the receptionist at the front desk. There is nothing blocking me from communicating with others inside the company. We have computers with the latest processors, 27 inch dual monitors, ergonomically adjusted chairs and desks, laptops to work from home as well as company phones. I also travelled to San Mateo in January to attend a conference on Coupa reports/analytics and it was all paid for by Turner Entertainment. The company invests heavily in training employees with the newest technology. New employees watch tutorial videos created by Turner Entertainment and don’t have to read a manual or fill out paperwork by hand. By staying ahead or current with the technology landscape has allow Turner Entertainment to compete globally. They do not have any properties outside the country but they do have a way for those outside the United States to book their stay at any one of their properties. They partner with many travel sites such as Expedia and Travelocity so that have an influx of money coming from outside the country. By going through intermediary’s such as Travelocity and Expedia, Turner Entertainment is using technology to communicate with those outside the United
