There was a girl I met, I didn’t like her at the start, she was extremely crazy and bad. But, I was wrong about her, she was my girlfriend, my love, she got me out of hell and made me whole again. This is why I should never judge a book by its cover. In the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee, it talks about the prejudice and hate in the early times of the southern United States. Even though people have the right to judge another person, Tom Robinson and Arthur Radley are the Mockingbirds because the Mockingbird symbolizes innocence and we should not judge a book by it’s cover. After Arthur kills Bob Ewell and saves the kids, Heck Tate clears him of any wrongdoings knowing that Arthur doesn’t like attention. “To my way of thinkin’, Mr.Finch, taking the one man who’s done you and this whole town a great service an’ draggin’ him with his shy ways into the limelight- to me, that’s a sin.(Lee) Heck Tate thinks its a sin to bring Arthur attention because he knows he doesn’t like attention and that would compromise who he truly is.
