1. I believe that the jury found Tom Robinson guilty because one main reason. The town is a very racist town full of people calling eachother names based on what color skin everywhere has. Not to mention most of the jury was white and very much racist also. Everybody looks down only colored people. I believe that Tom Robinson got was found guilty because they didn’t really listen to the trial they just based what they had and that he was black. Atticus shows that the person who beat up Mayella would have to be a left handed person. I believe Tom Robinson messed up his right hand in an accident and cannot hit her of the right side of her face if he couldn't hit with his left hand. They then point out that the father didn’t report anything for Mayella’s medical condition and why he didn’t report it. The father Bob Ewell then tries to covers that up and make it look like he was after the “person” who did it to Mayella and didn’t think to get help right away just “justice”. Then the whole trial comes down to the fact that the whole town is racist and believing a white male and his white daughter. Also the fact that Tom Robinson ran away but said he didn't hit her it still puts him at the scene and they have to assume Tom Robinson is guilty due to color of skin and no really witnesses to back up Tom Robinson. When Mayella has her father there. 2.
