When researchers are very interested in studying that genetics has a big factor in the appearance of certain characteristics or homosexuality, they knew that the best thing to do is to take a look and study the people who are closely and very related to each other.

Michael Bailey and Richard Pillard performed a research study and they compared 56 monozygotic twins or identical twins which have exact same zygote and fertilized egg, 54 dizygotic twins or fraternal twins and 57 genetically unrelated adopted brothers.
