As a child, he suffered years of abuse by his father. The abuse situation became so bad that Emmitt Perry Jr. once tried to attempt suicide because he was fed up with what his father was doing to him. At the age 16, Emmitt changed his name to Perry because he no longer wanted the same name as his abusive father.

Also, the instructor reiterated that the anxiety levels of the individuals taking part in the seminar were high. He informed the professionals that the tightness or tension they felt as a result of experiencing the questions he asked parallels that of a student with learning disabilities. Noting, this is how a student with a learning disability feels on a regular bases. Teachers should be mindful of the characteristics of children with learning disabilities; they need to take this into account when providing instruction and asking questions with regard to the lesson. Another great point that was addressed, is the idea that if a person is being yelled at to provide information repeatedly their first response is to look away.

Of course, we are not talking here about students whose comprehension is severely impaired, because they are usually schooled individually and have a special grading system, adjusted to their needs and abilities. But in the classrooms there are often students with less obvious disabilities, which, although less severe, can also create academic challenges. Some of them, such as dyslexia or dyscalculia, are directly related to learning and may affect the speed at which students acquire the material. Others, such as anxiety or ADHD may not only disrupt learning, but also are very likely to cause discrepancies between the students’ subject knowledge and their exam and assignment results.
Throughout this paper, I will explain my usage of media. My first paragraph will be about my description of it. Paragraphs two and three will be my analysis of it. The fourth paragraph will be about my interpretation of it. Paragraph five will be my evaluation of it.
