Ultrasound Technician They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in order to see your baby, your brain, or even the inside of your stomach. They send a sound wave through a device that creates an image. That picture can determine the rest of your life, whether it’s a baby or not. The influence of my choice is more really goals I want to have in finding a career. I want to prove to my family and myself that I can do something good, help others, and have a career in which the learning process never stops. To start off, I wanted to choose a career that can show my family that I am doing something with my life and that I am not choosing something that is easy. I think the biggest thing I want to prove would be that I am not as stupid as they think I am. I was always the dumb kid that never did fit in with my family. I was surrounded by a bunch of smart cousins and siblings, soI always felt stupid. I know they say it's ok not to fit in, but to me, I have always wanted to fit in somewhere. I think that not only do I want to prove to my family, but I want to prove to myself that I can do anything I can put my mind to. That I can show myself that I am not what people think I am. As a little girl I have always have had low self-esteem. Having low self-esteem I think I am bad at everything. I bring down myself, which is not a good thing at all. I’ve been told by a lot of people that if you don’t believe then you’re not going to do something good. I have a hard time believing in myself, but I think if I keep on trying to believe then I will go far in life. Proving to myself would help boost up my confidence and help me prove to myself that I will do well in this world. That I will be who/ what I want to be. I one mission besides proving to myself and others is to do something that I am going to enjoy
