Met with Jessica Cukrowski - Store Manager, Gap - Mall of America. Discussed with her, her daily duties in order to better perceive her role as a manager.
Points Discussed-
- Entirely responsible for the activities of the store and providing leadership to the rest of the management.
- Has to rely on Merchandising team, Customer Service team and the Operations team. Making sure every department is working to achieve individual, department and store goals.

- The Store Manager sets expectations for every manager and his/her team, makes them understand their responsibilities by making sure every employee coming into the shift is being rallied in and has the information regarding the day’s goal as far as sales, daily deals, items per transaction sold score, customer experience survey response score, gap card account opening and payroll is concerned thus creating a feeling of inclusion and responsibility among the employees.
- The Store Manager conducts a quarterly review at an individual level to give all the employees a feedback on their performance.
