The cold, lifeless weather and the tanks contrasts with soldier playing with the ball, as a consequence, this image creates the thought that a war doesn’t have a single side but instead is a journey itself with ups and downs. The photo isn’t biased since it shows both positive and negative sides as specified, in addition, it points out the diversity between ideas and people. Explanation says that soldiers are staying on the road because they should watch out this road since it leads to embattled town of Debaltseve. Explanation then adds that a ceasefire was scheduled; however we cannot know if this is the reason soldiers are happy and playing football. While contextual reason informs by telling about the current situation at that place, it doesn’t connect what happened with why most soldiers are smiling.
