In my assignment the organisation I will be using for this investigation is Kirklees College which is education institute and describing the job role, obtaining an application from for the job role as well as a job description for the teacher role. ü

Kirklees College is a further education college who have two branches in West Yorkshire (Dewsbury and Huddersfield). This college was formed on 1 August 2008 in Dewsbury but because of some problem they transfer to Huddersfield that why Huddersfield technical college changed its name to Kirklees College.

the purpose to evaluating their skills. The business used screen applications in their human recourse department before handling to manager or supervisors. ü

Person specification:

Person specification document helps to communicate equal opportunities policies within the recruitment culture of a business. The law is very clear about discrimination. A person specification ensures you are assessing a candidate on their abilities related to the role.

Kirklees College is looking for someone who had HND or degree in specfic subject, GCSE English and Maths grade A*- C, strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail. They used person specification for full and part time job. This give an idea to employers that applicant is able and suitable for this job. On person specification it ranked into two catergories essentail and desirable. This helps the emplyer to shorlist as essentail is what the candidate needs in order to apply for the role. Whereas desired is a prefered requirement and is only looked at if the is many people applying for this role. ü

them employable. Every jobs requies the employee doing it to possess a range of speciallist skills. It is essential for employees to be able to work effectively in a modern workplace.

This is improtant for business that they have the right employee which have suitable skills for this job. Every jobs have their on requirment, so employer need to make sure that they have the right person and they have suitable degree or skills and experience for the better future of business. The main skills every business need are good team work, able to work under the pressure , time keeping, ability to meet set targets and for this one special for this jobs is teaching.
