If we supposed that the service level agreement states that the system would not be offline or unavailable more than 45000 seconds a month then the goal would be to stay away from exciding the stated time. In the data from the years 2009-2017 we can see that the average total downtown is 44151.24 and we can determine that for the most part we are keeping with the goal of not exciding the 45000 mark. In the histogram, we can also see that there was also a high number of occurrences were the system was offline or unavailable for more than 45000.
Standard 9.04 a defines raw test data and scaled scores as raw information disclosed by clients during examination. Test data are client’s response to test and scaled scores and these information’s have not been released or subjected to analyzing by a third party. The scaled score are the psychologist note during the testing and does not include psychotherapy notes. The revised rules for test data was implemented in 2003 and new rules were added to help client have autonomy over their raw data.
Health Impact Assessment-Provides advice to communities on how they can stay healthy- by evaluating a potential plan, project or policy before it is “built or implemented”(CDC.2015). For example: Maryland state code requires fire sprinklers to be installed in new and renovated single-family homes. Statistics show an 80% decrease in the chance of death in homes equipped with sprinklers. This regulation would also be considered Health in All Policies(HiAP) due to its cross sectoral nature.
Unit 4 is the preparation of treatment in which the baseline data (activity level) is gathered. This includes daily activity record and behaviour contract. A daily activity record ( hour by hour ) is used to monitor activities clients is already doing, to see the frequency of healthy and unhealthy behaviours. (Lejuez, 2001, p. 265). In this phase, the client is encouraged to create an environment, one that promotes healthy behaviours (Lejuez, 2001).
The NHS will be using both treatment and preventative measures as an approach by giving Adam leaflets and information booklets that will give him a better understanding of his diagnosis, so that he knows what to expect throughout university when he doesn’t have his family close by to support him. By having a better understanding of his diagnosis Adam will be able to educate others around him about schizophrenia and make them understand what may happen to him, by doing this the new people he meets wouldn’t be so alarmed at seeing the symptoms that might come about in Adams everyday life, and also because the doctor is giving him medication in order to treat his diagnosis. With Adams condition he has to be entered into a treatment process which is commonly known as a care programme approach, this process is to see if Adam is getting the right medication and treatment for his needs.
D1/D2/A1 This piece of work will be focusing on a child aged 18 months starting a nursery day care setting. The two key issues that will be looked at in this assignment will be planning, preparing and reviewing for the child to settling into the setting. Secondly I will be looking into the child’s emotional support that the child may need when starting the setting, along with the attachments of the child that will need to be built or have already been put in place. When planning for a child to start a new setting there will be certain things that will need to be taken into consideration, for example; the child at hand may have never been separated from their primary carers beforehand.

The care standards act try’s to make sure that all institutions are equipped and well facilitated to meet the needs of those within the provision.
7 / D.P7: Explain how different procedures maintain health and safety in a selected health or social care setting Maintaining health and safety in health and social care is extremely important to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all their service users as well as other individuals service providers may come in contact with in the setting. There are several procedures that help to maintain this health and safety however they can all vary between settings for example, health and safety procedures will be slightly different and more focused on certain areas in hospitals and especially in paediatric ward compared to in drop-in centres where the needs and risk to service users are slightly different. Some of the procedures used in health and social care to maintain health and safety include; infection control and prevention, safe moving and handling of equipment and individuals, food preparation and storage, storage and administration of medication and storage and disposal of hazardous substances.
Unit 1: Activity 2: Assignment 2: Journal As an individual amongst many other students, we all have our own ideas and opinions. This is what makes us different from each other and also similar in many cases. With the diversity of opinions they often depict our relationship with others and who we are compatible with. From my experience, having a different opinion about something out of the majority is not necessarily a negative thing. The people I usually hang out with are understanding and may oppose my opinion with other reasoning why my opinion may be incorrect or not as good.
Task 2 7 / C.P6: Compare the influence of different health and safety laws or policies on health and social care practice in a selected setting There are several different health and safety laws and policies that vary between settings in health and social care aimed towards different legislations that must be followed, and have resulted in improvements in health and social care practice. It is important that these legislations are followed by service providers in order for them to promote safe practice and to fully understand their responsibilities under these legislations. Some of the legislations include the Health and Safety at Work Act etc 1974, the Data Protection Act 1998, the Care Act 2014, the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Equality Act 2010.
PSYCHOLOGICAL RISK ASSESSMENT There are only two assessment tools used to determine Mr. Rafferty’s risk level and management: Static-99 and RSVP. Both of them are risk assessment tools for sexual offender. Raw audio record, new articles, and collateral report are used as information to assess the risk ratings. There are 11 items in static-99 test to determine if the risk level is low, moderate or high. As a result, Mr. Rafferty’s final score is 3, which belongs to the moderate-low risk category (2-3).

A risk assessment is where we look at all the risks and try to find a way of overcoming or try to reduce the risks, as well as looking at the risks that is involved with many of the activities that the residents are able to do, then what can be done and put in place then to reduce the risks so they can take part in the activity risk and harm reduced, because they always have the right to be included in activities that they want to participate in. Therefor if an individual wants to do something independently, for example, make themselves a cup of tea, then a risk assessment will need to be completed to minimize the risk of that individual burning themselves or other residents, such as cap the temperature of the hot water, instead of taking their independence away from them and for us to do it for
When it comes to self care I find it helpful to group activities into four main categories - Physical, Mental, Emotional and Inspirational. Activity 2 I want you to think about these four categories and use the table to rate the areas in terms of frequency. Add any activity that is important to you that is not included. This self assessment tool has been adapted from work produced by Perlman who is an expert in the area of Vicarious Trauma and self care.
Before I begin on describing two approaches to risk assessment I am going to explain what risk assessment is; Risk assessment is an assessment or an evaluation of risk which according to businessdictionary.com (2015) is “A probability or threat of damage, injury, liability, loss, or any other negative occurrence that is caused by external or internal vulnerabilities, and that may be avoided through pre-emptive action” When doing a risk assessment you should always take a few things into consideration including; • Who is exposed e.g clients • Are they vulnerable? • Will they be unable to manage • Weakness or unable to participate • Consent Morris, T (2010) Risks always depend on circumstances also; High Risk: A good chance of injury occurring, with the injury being very serious. Medium Risk: Some chance of it happening, with the injury being quite serious.
