United Airlines has been in business since the 1920’s and is one of largest airlines in the world. United operates out of nine airline hubs in the continental United States, Guam, and Japan. The company employs over 85,000 people and helps millions of customers travel annually. In 2012, United Airlines merged with Continental Airlines and surpassed Delta as the largest carrier. Since this merger complaints have increased tremendously. after viewing a number of complaints, 68 percent of the complaints that have been recorded are customer service based. The other 32 percent is almost split evenly between mishandled luggage and communication issues. United Airlines wants to find solutions to improve the complaints issue as fast as possible.
