In Neal Shusterman’s book Unwind, Connor, Risa and Lev are teens set to be aborted with the condition that the child's life doesn’t technically end. This process is called “Unwinding.” The novel Follows Connor, Risa and Lev’s attempts to flee and survive. This essay will demonstrate that the three protagonists are complex characters with diverse traits.(might change)
Connor is a complex and a diverse character because he is irrational,Strong and intolerant.(might change) first Conner is irrational. “The boy with murder in his eyes tugs on Lev’s white silk shirt trying to pull him out of the car.”(Shusterman pg34) The reason this is such a great quote from Shusterman is because it shows that Connor isn’t thinking, He's struggling to pull Lev out of his car. If Connor was thinking he would have just continued to run, instead of wasting time trying to pull someone out of their car to use as a hostage or even saving them.
