In order to study violent behavior the three research methods I would use are naturalistic observation, survey, and case study. For me to use the naturalistic observation I would go into a public location so that I am able to observe various people at a time with out having to interact with them and would just observe people’s interaction with one another and their reaction to others and objects. By conducting this type of research method I think I would find out how people respond to certain things without being influenced, but also how people’s feeling and emotions are affected by something or someone. Then I would ask people in the same age group to take the survey so either children, teens, adults, or elders, and would get the same about of females and males to take the survey so that its evenly. The things I think I would be able to find with this type of method is what causes them to act out in violence as well as what prevents them from such behavior. The advantages with survey is that people might be more honesty with their answers since it would be anonymous and they would be able to write their answers down instead of telling me face to face and feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed with their responses, but also with their responses and answers it could open up more questions for me to ask and find out about. With disadvantages I feel like some would be the fact that people would feel uncomfortable to answer the questions to the point they are not honest with their responses or wouldn't answer them at
