Utopia means a magical perfect society where everyone is equal. Utopia is an island surrounded by the sea, good weather, and fertile land that rich in gold jewelry. Utopia was written by Thomas More who was born in a well-off family, be fond of philosophy was pressured by his father to study law in the legal profession, and then when More became a minister of justice, More was filled with deep sympathy for the low-class people and the toiling masses, even criminals. More did not like other lawyer judges who blindly blame criminal’s morality the vast majority of people is forced to stand, walk, from social system to crime. More argues that poverty is the origin of all evil, poverty is caused by social injustice and social injustice is the result of the private ownership. The book Utopia states that abolishment of private property can solve these problems because when people get enough goods for living they will not steal. By the way, since having more property can provide people the goods that they need and people can have easier lives, private property lead to illusory pleasures. However, Utopian natural pleasures are better that because Utopia society equally gives people goods so people do not worry about their lives. Lastly, More describes that Utopia is a peaceful and beautiful country. Even though some places are not reasonable, people are pursuing a good society system and some good system in Utopia are being realized in reality. More does not believe there is Utopia in this world, but he would rather believe that Utopia exists somewhere in the world. I also hold this attitude, as we believe in heaven.
