Uwp 22 Class Reflection Paper

My happy journey in UWP 22 Class I truly loved taking UWP 22 class. It was such an opportunity of a lifetime because I learned new types of writing that will be greatly useful during my entire time in college and even after graduation. Before taking this class, I didn’t really have a chance to learn how to write narrative, summary/response, and research paper professionally during my whole lifetime. However, through this class, not only did I master the way to write the professional form of these writings, but also I learned how to analyze somebody’s papers and properly use those sources in my writing. Before writing all three papers that I newly learned in this class, annotation skill was necessary because every paper was required to utilize outside sources. Since a successful summary requires to identify the most important examples and supporting details, this paper helped me have skills of catching main parts in each passage and clearly explaining the overall ideas of the text. Also, I could improve my paraphrasing ability through the process of writing summary paper. To do summary, I tried to grasp article’s overall contents and understand conceptual or scientific ideas. After that, I wrote down what I understood without discussing unimportant details and putting my own ideas. Finally, I compared my summary to the original paper and corrected again. Definitely, these processes attributed to have ability of richer vocabulary and writing well-organized paragraphs with just using key points. In addition, through learning to write response and narrative paper, I learned how to connect paper’s important ideas to my experiences and stories.
