Victims of the Holocaust timeline
I.Throughout the world, many stood by and watched the atrocities mounted.
A. everyday bystanders, would sit and watch what was going on but they had no authority.
B. You face the same consequences as the Jews if you were to get caught by Nazis helping.
II. Children were especially vulnerable during this tragic period.
A.Jews couldn't go to school with Germans and the Germans were taught jews and gypsies were racially inferior .
B. Jewish children lived in the ghettos with their families, needed to sneak food in order to eat, the children had to be used as slaves at the concentration camps
III. The Allies liberated the concentration camps in 1945 and became unwilling witnesses to horror. A.What happened in the camps was way worse …show more content…

Hitler created an atmosphere of terror that was maintained by force. A. Nazis labeled and isolated Jews,Gypsies,Slavs,Homosexuals,political prisoners,and mentally and physically disabled, most end up dying from starvation B.Predators committed crimes against Jews and other undesirables for many reasons, wanted most of the power
V.Rescuers, by hiding victims in attics or by helping them to escape to other countries, saved many who would have perished.
A.Those who take a great personal risk in order to help others, mainly the Jews, acted upon their own believes
B.Many survived the holocaust because of the rescuers,their considered to be all colossal people
VI. Resistance took many forms, from individual acts to organized armed resistance against the Nazi terror. A.Resisters had to choose their decisions wisely, or they would be killed on the spot B.Those taken in were told that they were lost in the night fog, when in reality they were killed
VII.Survivors, relate their thoughts and feelings about living through such a terrible period of human history. A.Survivors lived their lives in fear everyday of being discovered, those who left were most likely to be seeing those people for them last
