The club thought that no one there was doing it. Little did the others know, everyone did one, always for someone else in the club, and right after that club
In his work “The Underdogs”, Mariano Azuela is able to master the spirit of villismo regarding both its theoretic, underlying principles as well as the movement’s subsequent physical manifestations. Though significant characters conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the humble agrarian spirit central to villismo’s origin, characters in this text also exhibit the disruptive, callous behavior that is more characteristic of the federalist forces and dictatorships they aimed to unseat. Moreover, Demetrio’s degenerating understanding of the reason he’s fighting, coupled with his few instances of immorality, symbolizes the collapse of villismo morality into its culminating bandit-ridden reality. Cowboys, farmers, and other agrarian people suffering from land and labor oppression united together as the diverse “pieces of a great social movement [to] exalt their motherland” . Demetrio and Solis embody this original character of villismo revolution, as they maintain a moral, humanitarian compass throughout the novel.
John J. DeGioia (President of Georgetown University), is on a mission to remember the myriad of slaves that were stolen from their homes and shipped to the North America. Mr. DeGioia is one of many college presidents struggling to memorialise slaves forced to work on the grounds of the University. Student protests have opened many sets of eyes to the enslaved African Americans who have been long forgotten. Mr. DeGioia has been meeting with many alumni members discussing whether Georgetown should apologize from profiting from slavery, the creation of a memorial, and scholarships to the slaves descendants. His efforts have been met with mainly positive responses, but some alumni have criticised Mr. DeGioia.

The prevelence of propagandist language as a tool to persuade, manipulate and position according to one's personal gains is essentially what drives the action in Coriolanus. The psychology of Martius is a direct result of his upbringing. Volumnia boasts that there is "no man more bound to his mother." Their bond is so powerful that Coriolanus "never left his mother's house" and never achieved independance. Volumnia is able to persuade her son to refrain from "o'erleap[ing] the custom" and show his wounds publicly.
Since the Revolution of 1789 and through the present day, France has experienced internal division over a variety of matters. It has struggled to overcome differences between groups and individuals with the hope of achieving national unity. I had to introduce the second game earlier for some students while others were just beginning to play the first game. Managing and knowing how much time to give students to play for each game was challenging for me. All the families were listening to my instructions and directions per game. A family was asking questions about the rules and how to make it challenging for their child. This parent showed interest in the game and I knew that this family would play these games at home.
Although, I might have arrived reluctant and squeamish, I soon forgot it when we started to engage in games required swift yet effective communication. My competitive nature kicked in as Alejandro and I carefully strategized a plan to remain the last “driver” and “tank” standing, and I squealed with delight
