It is with great pleasure that I offer my highest recommendation for Kayana Cobb’s admission into your law program. (credentials) I have been __________and before that__________, at __________for x years. I have known Kayana for several years and served as a mentor to her. In the time that I have known her she has demonstrated outstanding qualities far beyond comparison to many other individuals I have mentored. I fully support Kayana’s decision to attend law school and believe her commitment to altruism will enable her success as a law student and later as an attorney.
In the early to late 1920’s the U.S. was struggling with many prejudices, immigration problems and flaws within the judicial system. A combination of these things contributed to Sacco and Vanzetti’s case which towards the end, gained international exposure and popularity. Both men were Italian immigrants who came to the U.S. in their youth in search of work and a better life. Sacco was no stranger to hard work and when he came to the U.S. nothing changed. He worked his way up so that he had a family, made a decent living and had good savings.

My name is Francisca H. Montes and work with the Migrant Program here at the district. We have one student who is in desperate need of a shelter. Unfortunately, he is using drugs to get away from his pain of being homeless and without a family. Do you have any resources or can refer to any resources that might be able to him? Any lead or program that can assist this young man would be greatly appreciated.

He completed his duties with honesty, integrity and dignity for endless decades.
Serena Williams and Ida B. Wells have changed the world more than you know. One you’ve probably heard of, the other probably not. Both have contributed many great things to make the world more equal. Serena Williams became the greatest tennis player, and Ida B. Wells inspired Rosa Parks by not giving up her seat on a train. Ida B. Wells changed the world by not giving up her seat and challenging those who were unequal.

The improvement of the rights of the Canadian Immigrants Canada, as one of the biggest immigration countries, welcomes people from all over the the world and forms a representative multicultural atmosphere in today’s society. Over these few decays, the country has always been consummating the laws to provide immigrants equal rights and freedoms, and better treatments they could receive. However, Canadian immigration laws were not unprejudiced and it eventually caused a “legal discrimination” before 1976. The legal rights of the immigrant groups have improved significantly because of the demands of developing the country, the influences of the wars, and the globalization of the world. Since 1880s, more immigrants and foreigners came to Canada because of the railway construction project.
Serbian Immigration Immigration of Serbians to America in substantial numbers began in 1880, and once they arrived most settled in Chicago. Many Serbians that settled in America between 1880 and 1914, leaving their country because they suffered and were persecuted because of their affiliation with the Serbian Orthodox Church. Canada is a strong country backed up by even stronger people. The fact that it surpassed the U.S.A, which was considered the 4th best country to live in, shows how much potential this country has with its extraordinary health care services and its fundamental freedoms. It also shows how Canada puts its citizens first above everything else and realizes that it is not perfect, and thus strives to improve its nature, relationships, and lifestyles with
Relocating to a new country and starting a new life is always a daunting process for most of the immigrants. My focus for the WP3 is on the challenges the immigrants have to deal with when they arrived in the U.S I work with one of the interpreting companies that employ a diverse group of immigrants, so my plan is to interview some of my work colleagues. I want to know their personal stories of coming to the U.S. How tough was their immigration process? Did they experience any culture shock when they first arrived to the U.S and was it hard to adapt? Most of the immigrants have to pass the extreme vetting before they come to the U.S.
