Wallace's Argument Analysis: They Say/I Say

The advice from this week’s reading from the book They say/ I say, is very similar to what most professors suggest to their students, and that is to create the argument as if you are having a conversation. The book states, and I agree that there is value and importance in clearly explaining and repeating throughout your work that the argument you are stating belongs to someone else. This will also make your work easier. For example, if you say Wallace states that language can be used to manipulate emotions, however I believe this is not true. This would make it very clear to your audience, what the author’s thesis is, and what your thoughts are. For the second part of this week’s assignment, we are being asked discuss the different “voices”
