Andrew jackson was president in the mid 1800’s. There’s a lot of debate on whether he was a hero, or a villain. He did a lot of life changing things for the U.S. Although he could’ve handled some things better he was still a big part of what made America. He believed in a lot of things that would be very controversial today, and because of this he did a lot of cruel things to people. The reason for his beliefs was because of how he was raised. Sometimes even of your raised a certain way it still doesn’t justify what you did to people, or how you act. Andrew Jackson did a lot of bad things, and most of the time he did something that resulted in something good he had to get to it by being cruel to people. Even though he was raised to believe these things it’s still not justifiable because you should be able to tell if something you do to a person is a bad thing or not. When he put the indian removal act into place he should’ve done it in a much more civilized way. When you send in your troops to burn down their houses, even kill some of them it tells something about you. …show more content…
