O.J. Simpson The criminal case of O.J. Simpson is one of the most famous court cases in the history of the United States. This case was formally known as the People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson. Simpson was tried on two counts of murder after the deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and a waiter named Ronald Goldman. The case lasted eight months, which resulted in Simpson being ruled guilty for the murders. After analyzing the evidence provided in the case, I believe that O.J. Simpson was correctly found guilty of the murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. The first piece of evidence that I think helps prove O.J. was guilty was the blood stains. The most odd fact about the murder weapon is that is has yet to be recovered. I think this is another compelling piece of evidence that points to Simpson’s guilt. The fact that O.J. bought the same type of weapon that was used for the murders gives a pretty good conclusion that he is guilty. Another piece of evidence left at the crime scene was bloody shoeprints. William Bodziak, a shoe print specialist, said that the shoe prints were left by size twelve Bruno Magli shoes. O.J. Simpson wore size twelve shoes, which means the shoes definitely could have been his. The shoes have yet to be recovered, ironically, just like the knife. I think that the shoeprints point to O.J. as well because they fit him, and they magically disappeared just like the knife. Therefore, I think that the bloody shoeprints support that Simpson was
