I believe that Steve Harmon is innocent. There are many reasons to believe this. For one “bobo” Evans placed him at the crime scene but Mr. Evans and Mr. King according to Mr. Evans testimony were on drugs. So Steve Harmon could have just happened to be their. Since both Mr. Evans and Mr. King were on drugs i don’t believe that their statements are valid.
On page 150 King says “I got a sure get over.” “You know that drugstore got burned out that time?” Later on, he asked Steve, "You down for it,?” This quote is important because it tells how Steve did attend the position of being lookout during the robbery. Steve was already the mastermind of how this was going to be.
We have a system in place that is meant to serve the American people and incarcerate those who are a menace to society. A system like this seems good on paper, until the people in the system and those who contribute to it, taint it with their bias.
