Muddy waters, or McKinley Morganfield son of Ollie Morganfield and Bertha Jones was a well-known Blues Musician, guitarist born in Issaquena County, Mississippi. Waters father was a farmer who played the blues guitar and his mother sadly died when McKinley was only three years old. Upon his mother’s death McKinley was sent to live with his grandmother Delia Jones in Clarksdale, Mississippi. While living in Clarksdale with his grandmother, McKinley enjoyed playing in the mud it was then he was dubbed Muddy Waters. When Waters was five years old his grandmother gifted him a Harmonica, it was with the harmonica that his exceptional career in Mississippi blues music began.

This is a mark in history because she will not only be the first African-American to appear on United States paper currency, but also the first woman in over a century. The original plan was to have a woman replace founding father Alexander Hamilton on the $10 bill. But that plan was revoked according to Jacob Lew, the Treasury Secretary, when the Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway musical portraying Hamilton’s life gained a lot of support, as reported by USA Today.

It is open only to juveniles (14 years of age and younger) and holders of disability licenses. (CNN)Children and infants made up almost a quarter of those injured when a car crashed into crowds at the Oklahoma State University parade Saturday, killing four people including a 2-year-old, Stillwater police said. The car's driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Three adults were pronounced dead at the scene, while the fourth victim, the young boy, died from his injuries at OU Medical Center Children's Hospital, according to a Stillwater Police Department statement. Police named the adult victims Sunday as 23-year-old Nakita Prabhakar of Edmond and 65-year-old Stillwater residents Bonnie Jean Stone and Marvin Lyle Stone.
First, the history of Devils Lake starts in prehistoric times. According to OnMilwaukee, an online news system, historians believe that during prehistoric times Devils Lake is now what it is because of glacial activity. Years ago, Devils Lake was surrounded in huge mountain ranges but through weathering and erosion has created the breathtaking bluffs and the large body of water there is today. One popular theory scientist have about Devils Lake is that years ago the Wisconsin River flowed through the gorge but the water became trapped between the glaciers. Over time the water trapped between the two glaciers became the well known lake.
Freedom Summer, or the Mississippi Summer Project, was a volunteer campaign launched in June 1964 to attempt to register as many African-American voters as possible in Mississippi, which had historically excluded most blacks from voting. The project also set up dozens of Freedom Schools throughout Mississippi to aid the local black population. The projects leadership and funding came from the SNCC and COFO, along with hundreds of white college students in the north. In 1963, the SNCC organized a mock vote for blacks, which gave them a chance to prove they were capable of understanding politics. The civil rights activists from both organizations and the white volunteers from the north faced many challenges during the campaign.

One night after the burial of their son, Mr.White woke up looking at his wife dozing off. He gently urges her to go back to bed, but she refused and suddenly cries out looking for the monkey's paw and insists on wishing her son back to life. He tried to explain about the situation but she still keeps on wishing that for their son to come back to life. Nevertheless he still went to get the paw, when suddenly a strange aura was felt inside the house. He felt a cold touch on his shoulders and heard a soft voice assuring him that he's going to be alright, living life without regrets and full of happiness.
