Physical journeys often present obstacles that test one 's mental and physical strength. they also, however, provide them with an opportunity to grow and learn from their experiences. In this novel by Cynthia Voigt this is shown in the way that all of the children are maturing on the way that all of the children are maturing on the way of the journey.
