There 's a debate if should we teach kids at least two languages at a young age so that they could have a better advantage in the future or let them have freedom and let the kids learn whatever language fits them the most. For me personally, I would teach my kids two languages because it really helped me get jobs easier and I know later in the future the competition for jobs will increase exponentially. My parents taught me three languages and those languages were English, Chinese, and Vietnamese. As of right now, I can speak fluently in all of the three languages but I still find it sort of hard to get a job so I’m wondering how the hell do kids that know one language get a job? That 's why I 'm determined to teach my kids even if it takes away some of their freedom because it will help them in the future. Moreover, being bilingual has many other benefits than just being more attractive and having better job opportunities.
