1: Books written by Minimalists
This research process was effective in the way it provided me with reliable information, specifically through the way Becker (Simplify, 2010), exposes the seven main concepts that create a base line for the ideas of minimalism and Kondo (The life changing magic of tidying up, 2014) highlighting the importance of the decluttering method, ensuring that you can gain the most of out your experience. These sources were most important to my research as they were larger sources that helped validate key points made by smaller internet sources. Joshua Becker gave an extensive insight into the concepts that inspired Minimalism to the movement it has brought among us today, directly referencing my first sub question “What are the concepts and theories behind the movement of minimalism”. These seven main concepts defined in “Simply” (2010), also proved to be relevant at the current time of the movement proving this source validity although dated 8 years ago. Marie Kondo (The life changing magic of tidying up, 2014) provided me with the practical aspect of Minimalism, the process of decluttering what you own. This process was effective as it assisted me through the understanding the impact of physical decluttering as well as the benefits that so heavily influence the choice to follow the movement. After concluding the process of decluttering, I was able to cross-reference the benefits I felt with other Millennials and articles about the benefits found from Minimalism. This allowed me to ensure the research process was reliable.
3: Blog Posts
From using blog posts as a research process, I was able to find current articles written on Minimalist blogs about the impact that Millennials are having on the movement expanding to what this may equate to in the future.

An opportunity that arose during my project was that I was asked to join a Facebook forum, by the name of “Declutter and Organise with Intention, which is a group of women who assist and motivate one another during their Minimalist journey. After being accepted, I was able to ask the members to answer my short survey to assist with my research, many of which were eager to assist and share their opinions of Minimalism and the impact it has on Millennials. This opportunity was unexpected; however, it gave me the ability to further develop my understanding of Minimalist concepts, and the community and support that surrounds this way of
