Welding Narrative

It all started in High School. At first I wanted to be a mechanic all through Middle School and my first year of High School. My first year in High School I took a Mechanic’s class. And then I found out about a welding class that I could take. I took the intro class for the first semester of my 10th grade year. Because it was only a semester long class. My 11th grade year I took level 1 Manuf & Eng witch was half of like a machining class and the other half was a welding class. The Machining part of the class was ok but the welding part I was better at. By the end of my 10th grade year I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to be in life. At the beginning of the 11th grade I was in level 2 Manuf & Eng in the Welding program. All through my 11th grade I got better at welding and I was also in a program that was called Skill’s U.S.A. that took place at my school on tuesday nights. Through my 11th grade year I got not only better at welding but I got to make things that not everyone in my class got the chance to make. I got asked to make a metal fence for the school that only 4 other students got asked to make. For an example 3 days ago being march 30 2016 I spent my day welding. But later that night I woke up in a lot of pain and I knew exactly why I was in pain. Its called flash burn. It happens when your welding or someone else is welding around you and your not wearing a welding helmet. The symptoms of flash burn are pain that may be mild or very severe, usually starting a few hours after the incident Bloodshot eyes, light sensitivity, watery eyes, blurred vision, the feeling of having something in your eye. And this I can say is the worse pain I have ever been in it is like your eyes are being set on fire and it won’t go away. There are a lot of other things that
