Change is an interesting concept. In order for successful change, we need a problem to fix and an alternate perspective on the problem. To change something means to make something different. Successful change means to make something different with a positive outcome. In a perfect world, every mistake would be followed by successful change, yet we do not live in a perfect world, so this is not the case. Sometimes mistakes are followed by more mistakes and failure snowballs until you get to a point when failure is just expected. Nothing moves forward for the better until we are past the point of no return destroying everything we know and love. The families of those accused and killed, the people accused even the general public can be impacted by these scenarios. This isn’t a one-time thing these people can have their lives changed forever and they can keep changing for years even decades down the line. The parents of the dead may possibly be affected the most by this injustice. Cause not only do they have to sit through years of trials to see justice for their children, they are told to hate these three teenagers for killing their children when they will eventually be let out of prison because there was no substantial evidence keeping them there. Even then they may feel guilty that the wrong people were convicted So, the justice they felt when the ‘killers’ were sent to prison was short lived when they were let out 18 years Later. The parents of the convicted are also deeply affected by this injustice. The few things that can happen in this instance is the parents disown the children for a crime they didn’t commit, or they can stand by them trying to look strong while the justice system destroys their children's hopes of having a normal life. These injustices can destroy marriages and ruin families. Then you’ve got those convicted of the crime. Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelly Jr, and Jason Baldwin were all hated and convicted for killing three little boys. The justice system failed them, and their lives will never be the same. Even though they are now out of prison people will still believe they killed those boys. And they now have to get used to life outside of prison, getting jobs, learning all the new things that have come to be since 1994. The flaws in the justice system and corrupt police not only sentenced three teenage boys to life and death in prison but it ruined peoples’ lives, this is not the first time this has happened, and
