In 1930’s, laws were established to prevent monitories from being in the same facilities as whites. The Article the Great Depression and World War I illustrates that "Texas remained deeply segregated -by race and by custom. Job opportunities were limited, schools for Hispanic and black's students were inferior and in many parts of the state, the threat of violent attacks against blacks and Latinos remained very real" (Hammonds). The United States of America has been treating Immigrants’ unfairly for many years, now that Donald Trump in office, history is repeating itself. During the 1930’s, there were many laws that were created, and one of them was called the Jim Crow law.
