Gun control is probably the biggest debate as of now. Many people agree with gun control and against it. Gun control could help with safety within schools, such as arming teaching to assist with opposing threats against the school. It could also help with safety within the homes of America, and also gaining militias. Some may even argue that more gun control will help the U.S. Some quotes from historical leaders would lead to believing in less gun control. Like this quote from Adolf Hitler “To conquer a nation, you must first disarm its citizens.” The government and school officials should arm, and train teachers within the school. Having armed staff would help with opposing threats against the school and the students. An option could be that assistant and student teachers should have the choice of carrying a firearm within the schools. Also, the school system wouldn’t need police that often within the school because of how secure it would be within the school system. …show more content…
