There are many pros and cons based on the idea of concealed carry being allowed in certain places. The pros of concealed carry being allowed in school are that in the case of a school shooting it would help students to defend themselves. Violent criminals know that currently schools are gun free zones, and can use this factor to their advantage. Rather than falling victim to an attack on the school; teachers could protect themselves and their students. Students could feel much safer if their teacher was armed. Students would feel more safe if they knew they could be protected from an attack from an intruder or another student. Criminals know that teachers currently are not armed and could potentially see schools as a target.

One of my reasons for saying this is that it could help save teacher and students lives. If a gunman was trying to shoot up the school any of the teachers could lock themselves in the room with their students and have a gun pointed at the door to try and save lives. If a teacher didn’t have a gun they would be hopeless and have to just sit there in the dark and wait for the cops. Where I live cops don’t come to fast they usually take like 5 mins and that is a lot of time to wait when their is a shooter in the building.

How can parents feel comfortable with sending their kids to a school house that is not safe? The schools of America need to add teachers with guns to protect the student trying to learn.
According to the United States Constitution, we are granted first amendment rights to carry guns. Today, with current issues such as police brutality,mass shootings, and suicide. Many people believe that the gun laws should be stricter. However, in order to be protected, teachers should be allowed to carry guns in school in order to exercise their fundamental rights can protect themselves.
The reason why i mention this cause college allows the students to bring it and they have as much school shootings as a high school does. But this could be risking more lifes. I don't think they should do this for the high school level but they should keep it at a college level cause those people at that level choice to be there. The fourth part is that should teacher hold guns.
But there are lots of disadvantages as well. The reasons why we should not permit guns in college because it will cause more violence, students are not mature enough and it is not safe. Students today live their day-to-day lives in constant fear of what seems inevitable. The United States has one of the highests rates of school shootings in the world. Society has become so desensitized to these shootings that they are no longer shocked to hear about another school falling victim to it. Even when students take a stand against gun violence, the only solution offered to them is a proposition to arm teachers. However, bringing more guns into a school will only further deteriorate the situation.
Guns have no role in our country schools. Schools and colleges are places of education. Students should be free to learn in an environment away from every day violence. Violence on campus has Students, Parent, and University Staff all concerned and looking for preventative measures.
Only 3 months into 2018 there have been over 10 shootings on a school campus. So in light of the most recent school shooting that took 17 lives in Florida many ask, should the government put stricter laws on guns? There are many different opinions on this topic considering the circumstances at hand.some believe that guns should be easier to obtain others believe they should be much harder to get your hands on, there are people who think guns should be just straight up banned. If the government put stricter gun laws on firearms then of course it would be harder to get get them. But for someone who is willing to take others lives they could easily get them illegally by means of purchasing them illegally or possibly stealing them, or in most cases if a parent has a firearm a child or whoever could easily get to that firearm.
