In Fahrenheit 451 and animal farm they both share the same themes in their books. Propaganda, Fear, and Corruption are themes that both book’s share. In Fahrenheit 451 and Animal Farm both books use fear and corruption as themes to show how society can be change and manipulated. Animal Farm by George Orwell is about a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. An example of corruption in Animal is when Napoleon is in charge and uses the animals as workers, when the animals first rebel against the humans they wanted to be equal, but know the animals are unequal and are corrupt. “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” This quote shows how some animals are valued higher than others. An example of corruption in Fahrenheit 451 is in the dystopian world the government censors all books from being read to keep society happy. “So now do you see why books are hated and feared?
