What was the cause of the atlantic revoulution? What caused the people to revolt and fight. What I believe that caused the American Revoulution, The French Revoulution and the Haitian Revoulution is the unfair repersentaon of power. In all these revoulution there is one class of people that don't have a say of what they want. They don't have a voice and infuriates them. In the American revoulution the coloinsts were controlled by a tryrant. The British went low on money so they resorted to the colonists. They imposed taxes that were outragous. The sugar Act and the Stamp Act of 1765. The colonists we angry and said that they said taxation without repersenation, which made them revolt against the king. According the the "Jackson J spielvogel, Worst History" A chart shows the Three Estates in Pre Revoulutary France, We see that 98% of the population are the commoners (Third Estate) the rest the first and second estates. And we see the only people thay pay taxes is the third estate. With the increase in bread prices, with the little amount of money they make, they are the only one that pays taxes would make them angry. Angry enough to fight for there rights and want to be independent. Finally in the Haitian Revoulution the unfair of represenation is slavery. " One unintended consequence of this situation was that two-thirds of the moer than half a million slaves in the conolny had been born free in Africa- and nearly half a million slaves in the conoly had been deprived of freedom within the past ten years." What can this mean? This means the freedom they have was taken from them. They didn't have a say in this they were taken and used a objects. This can make the slaves more volatile then other slaves in other countries. Later they discover they do have rights and then fight for there represenation as free
