What is a definition of a Union ? The definition of a Union is a number of people associated for a common purpose.They were made in the 1800s to help sweatshops. These unions were made to help employees have a salary that reached the minimum wage, less hours, and have a stable work conditions.
What conditions existed in factories ? Conditions that existed in factories were bad . There were no exits, windows, or absence of lighting. These conditions were bad especially for children because as young as 14 worked to help their family.One example how bad these conditions
