What Does Being Idle Mean

Has anybody ever thought about Thomas Jefferson's quote "Determine never to be idle.... It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing." His quote can be true or false it just depends on how the person looks at his idea. Always doing something does not always mean that the person is going to get things done. Inactivity also serves as a purpose because it gives people time to think about the next task, it gives people time to so they will not be as stressed out, and it gives people time for themselves. That is why inactivity serves as a purpose. Also, inactivity gives people time so they will not stress themselves out as much. If you are always busy, do not have time to think, do not have time to do other things but things you are trying to accomplish you will find yourself stressing out. That person will be stressed out because he or she has so much on their shoulders. That person might deal with the stress fine but they can also deal with it really bad. For example, if they are dealing with it bad, they might give up on all their tasks. That is worse than if they gave themselves time in between tasks, and it were to take a day or two longer. This is another reason why inactivity serves as a purpose. Third, inactivity gives people time for themselves. If you complete what needs to be done and you are not that person who is always doing something right after another, you can go on vacation with your family or go out somewhere fun. But if the person is always doing something, that person might not have much family time. These type of people might get distant with there kids, spouse and other family members because they have no
