Danny Harold Rolling is also known, as the Gainesville Ripper was an American serial killer who murdered five students at the University of Florida. Danny was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 26th 1954. His dad James was abusive from the start of his birth. His father was also a police officer. His father also abused his mom Claudia and brother Kevin.

For some people, it means you have the freedom to go for a walk without getting the police called on you. For some it may mean practicing the religion they choose, or where they work or live. To me freedom means being able to wake up and feel safe. Freedom is being able to speak or act and not feel restricted. I am grateful for the freedom I have but I am also a little concerned. To me freedom is something you should honor and cherish. I do realize that what freedom means to me and what freedom can mean to someone else can be very different.

I believe that freedom means that people can express themselves however they want and that they can make decisions for themselves. I think that this is true because people can choose their religion, have the freedom of speech, and can stand up for what they believe is right. Freedom of religion was part of the First Amendment to the Declaration of Independence, which means that people are able to choose their religion and can freely worship.
Webster Dictionary defines freedom as a “political right”. To me, freedom is much more than that. Freedom gives me and the people of America the right to do anything we want; it allows us to be ourselves no matter where you come from, or who you are. Unfortunately, America has not always been this way; people of different races were treated like trash on the sidewalk. Frederick Douglass had a first-hand experience to this treatment, and he knew what it was like before America allowed everyone to actually be “free”.
Freedom is the ability to love whomever we want, It is when you give without expecting a favor, It is the power to forgive when you've been mistaken, it is the capability to do right without being proud of it. To me Freedom is America, Freedom is the 13 horizontal stripes and the 50 stars waving in the wind, and finally Freedom is for everyone to be equal, yet different in his or her own way. Freedom to me is America, as simple as that. On July 4th, 1776 America gained freedom from Great Britain, for this is one of the most important dates in American history.

Here in the United States we have freedom to do what we want, to say what we want, and to be who we want. According to the dictionary, freedom is the power to determine action without restraint. Freedom for my generation in America is taken for granted. Having freedom is important because you aren’t forced into doing anything you don 't want to do, it makes life experiences enjoyable, you can be yourself and life 's more fun with freedom. America’s gift to my generation is freedom.
Freedom can have many meetings to many people. Freedom to some may mean to be free in a trapped society filled with rules and regulations. Freedom can be revealed to the naked eye in things such as laws, organizations, and even clubs. (26) I think freedom means trying to live the way that the millions of soldiers, militiamen, and draftees who have died would want us to: peacefully, harmoniously, but not without some of the hardships of life which make us who we are.
Never in my life have I been asked this question but after reading the first week’s lectures, it is becoming clear to me. Liberty means I am not a slave, I am free. Liberty means I can make my own decisions, express my points of view, beliefs and opinion. My definition of slavery is simply put as: personal property or belonging to someone else.
