As I’ve changed over the years, the thing that has always been a constant in my life is my joy in helping others and being imaginative. Whether I was the quiet kid or the one who has too much to say, I made myself available for anyone who needed help on anything and I’d always have ideas. The feeling I get when from helping others has inspired me to what I want to see myself become as I grow older and have the imagination I hope I never grow out of. Since I was three years old, I’ve been a dedicated fan of comic books. I own quite an impressive collection of comic books and collectables. Seeing all these characters perform selfless acts of heroism, it motivated me to be like them. Even today, my biggest wish would to be Spider-Man. On the bright side, some of my friends (and myself) like to call me Spider-Man. I related to Spider-Man the most because I was a nerdy kid who couldn’t find exactly where he fit in. I’d never do it for them, but I devote my time to making sure they understand the subject or my comments on their work. My help isn’t exclusive to just my friends, I try to make myself open to everyone who needs assistance. Another moto I like to live by is to show everyone respect and kindness no matter who they are. That means if anyone needs help, I’ll do what I can. I’ll help a random person pick up their dropped papers, give them directions when they seem lost, or jumpstart their car. Of course, I always hold the door open for anyone. In lacrosse, a reason I chose to play defense is because I wanted to have my goalie and my team’s back if anything went wrong.
