In the book To Kill a Mockingbird many characters represent a form of courage and meet the standards of what real courage is, but I cannot list them all so here are the three characters that I picked that represents courage the most to me. Atticus Finch a father, a lawyer, and a well known person in the small town of Maycomb,Alabama represents courage to me, because as Maycomb is known for displaying harsh feelings on the black community Atticus was still willing to take the case of a African american man known as Tom Robinson. After Atticus took the case he knew him and his kids would be criticized for his actions but he knew it was the right thing to do.
